"Passive" from A Perfect Circle's "Emotive" album (2004).
I guess you've all watched the Passive collaboration video by now. If not, well.. watch it? There is a difference between this video and the collab. I recorded the collab in standard B-E-A-D-G, but the APC bassist obviously doesn't play on a 5-strings bass. So, since there is a low C in this song, I chose to drop the E string to a C, but leave the other strings in standard. Why? Making them lower is not gonna help out at all. You don't want to play the main riff in the 10-12 fret range, unless you do. Anyway, the basslines are very high compared to most A Perfect Circle songs. The second chorus is the only part where you go really low. Oh also, you see me doing some finger-picking at the end, but you can clearly hear the sound of a pick. I guess I forgot to play with a pick. Do whatever you like.
Some important information that nobody is going to read.
